DDJ SX2 Not Registering with Rekordbox

Hi Guys, I need you help.

My DDJ SX2 has been working perfectly fine and last week at the end of a gig, the controller stopped working.

I am led to believe this may have something to do with Mac upgrading to El Capitan but I can't seem to find an updated firware file.  When I go to the Pioneer site it states the machine will update automatically, but this doesn't seem to be the case.

The controller is working; I have pressed Shift+SYNC to take it into Midi Map mode and this works, however, when either using Serato or Rekordbox, neither software can see the machine.

I have rebooted, changed the USB cables and have the latest Serato and Rekordbox versions - nothing seems to work

Is there somewhere I can source updated firmware or driver? Or, maybe something else I haven't thought about.
