The PLX1000 are Hanpin. I just bought on as well, it just arrived today and I wish I had gone with the Reloop RP7000 or just bought a used SL1200. Seems I got an overpriced OEM

I recently bought the PLX-1000s and one of them has ever so slightly loose tonearm bearings, which isn't and issue when using it, but the other doesn't have a loose tonearm, is this something i should worry about, also are these decks made by Hanpin, or by Pioneer?

I had a set of PLX 1000 as well, sent them back straight way after only two days! Both tone arms were shit out of the box, loose as a cheap trick on the corner. The Gimbal bearing was not good at all, the overall feel of the deck is "cheap", not to mention the damn thing won't hold matched pitches over a long mix!
I've expressed my grievance to Pioneer and they basically said "F off"
Pioneer uses the Hanpin under pinnings, then choose a cheap ass plastic body, slap their name on top and charge consumers $200 more than the Reloop or Stanton counterparts. Made by the same damn company! Shameful....there are so many people on YouTube and the forums verifying this very same thing. You would think Pioneer would have enough self respect to fix the issues or at least care enough to take consumer reports into consideration.

I'm not saying i don't like these turntables, they are very, very nice, very good to mix on, i play long mixes and they are great, very accurate and great motor, platter, torque, i was just curious to whether pioneer had manufactured them in house and whether or not i should worry about one of the tonearms bearings being ever so slightly loose, and i mean ever so slightly, but they are easily adjusted if you know what you are doing...anyhoos
ps...i don't think being hanpin is a bad thing either
