Very strange. As you mentioned, the first thing I would check would be the power cable and the actual power source itself. Have you tried swapping power cables? Does this happen at the same venue or at different venues? If it happens at the same venue it could possibly the power. If neither of these things are the culprit it it likely a hardware issue.
Is it less than one year old? If so, it is still under warranty. Please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region for further assistance.
If it is older than one year, please contact your nearest authorized repair center.
