DJM-900nxs2 Space and Dub Echo not working

Just picked up the mixer yesterday and finally got it hooked up to my CDJs. All the effects seem to be working except for Space and Dub Echo in the Color FX section. Ftr I'm using RCAs in the line in right now until I can get digital cables, and haven't yet updated the firmware, but I cant see why that would be an issue. Anyone else having this problem or know why it's not working?
