HDJ C70 Headband broke

So I seem to be the next in a long line of complainers on this issue - Its a shame really, as I loved the headphones, but there definitely appears to be a defect in the headband given the amount of complaints I've seen over the net regarding it.

I use mine sparingly (And CAREFULLY) at home just and the other night they just clean snapped in two.

Surely Pioneer needs to look into this defect and start to address it.

Has anyone ever had any joy  complaining to Pioneer about this, and probably more importantly are the replacement headbands better made or is it the same old issue with them aswell.

Grateful for any feedback...

I bought them on 24/8/15 but they've always been a backup pair so never used out. Just light use in the house - certainly not enough to expect a headband to break! I've had a few different pairs of headphones in my time and none have ever experienced problems like this even after heavy use...

Pioneer are notorious for having terrible customer service, in the uk anyway. Happy enough to take your money, but when there's a fault there's no one ever there there to talk to that's useful. You have to deal with the shop where you purchased it and even the shop says they find it hard to get in touch with anyone apparently...

Even better the laugh was apparently the repair centre said they could replace the headband for £105 I think it was. Even though the part is £50. Laughable really...

My mate had an issue with a snapped Aiaiai headband after a couple of years use and they replaced it no questions asked for free. Unlike pioneer who try to charge you double the price for a user replaceable part!

Terrible!

Headband Snapped twice already, 65 euro's for a new headband that's gonna do the same thing?
