Perhaps this topic was already posted before, at least I wasn't able to find it specifically. I recently purchased Rekordbox DJ (performance package) and I hooked up my DJM 850 k to it (in combination with 2x XDJ 1000). Once connected thru USB, the mixer section within Rekordbox DJ seems to be "locked" as such and, once I click on it, it gives a "invalid operation" massage, mentioning that the mixer is in "external mode". That I understand as the sounds produced by the software, is/should be manipulated by the sound-strengths of the mixer, but I'd guess I should be able to "see" the knobs (low/mid/high) & faders "moving" in the Rekordbox DJ software, right? I am sure that I am missing something here, so perhaps somebody could wake me up. Thank you already in advance!
@Serge > The audio configuration of the DJM-850 hardware is designed for it to be used in External Mixer mode with rekordbox. As such, the internal (software) mixer shouldn't be used, and none of the changes on the hardware will be reflected in the software.
