Audio stream stops on CDJ350, track keeps going in Rekordbox.

So, I had this happen multiple times on the weekend with the latest Rekordbox update (4.4).

Audio will just stop but the track keeps going in Rekordbox. Pausing the CDJ350 and hitting play again will resume audio, but needless to say, this is not exactly a solution.

Playing on new Windows 10 laptop, core i7, 8gb ram.

@CJTO > What are you using as the audio interface? The CDJ-350's?

Did it only occur on one of the players? Or would audio continue from the other deck?

So, I would be playing on one deck and the audio would just stop, while the track kept moving in Rekordbox on the laptop.  The other player was queued but not playing anything.  I could use the other normally and it did play audio properly when play was engaged.  The problem seems transient and it doesn't require a restart of either the software or the player to fix it - as I said, if I paused the track and hit play again, it would resume audio. The only thing I was thinking was that maybe it's a buffer issue?  But again, only a problem with 4.4...  4.3 was ok.

Well, I just upgraded to 4.4 last week.  I was running 4.3.1 without issue for the past while.  This laptop is ONLY for DJ'ing, so there is no other software on it and no other changes (including windows updates) were made to the system, other than 4.3 -> 4.4

You can install 4.3.1 in parallel to the existing 4.4 and see if it has the same issue 4.4 does, this would at least help our engineers know for sure what they're looking for.

So, I've narrowed it down to a buffer underrun issue. I have to set my buffer to 512 in 4.4, while in 4.3 I was able to set it significantly lower. The problem seems to be solved but the solution isn't ideal. I'd prefer a smaller buffer, but at least it doesn't stop.

@CJTO > Can you give the rekordbox 5 beta a spin and see how it does there? It uses much less system resource and you may be able to get a lower buffer setting there again.
