2 new xdj-700 random freezes, return them?

Today did some testing. The xdj-700 with the usb stick freezes and the other start playing loops. No stand-by led flashes.

Stick works flawless in my cdj-900.

I cannot find a pattern it freezes with different songs.

I am now preparing samsung ssd T3 500gb.

Format twice with Fat32, copying the 18000 mp3 songs on it and then let analyze it with latest version of rekordbox. After that i make playlists with no more then 10000 songs.

Are there things i doing wrong?

What was the make / model of the USB drive that had the problem?

The usb drive is a cosair flash voyager slider 256gb. Formated Fat32, 32kb cluster. 

Still preparing the samsung T3 with rekordbox 4.4.0.

Today i tested the new samsung T3 drive and it freezes to. When one player is playing and i want to search one the other by pressing back. Both players freeze and usb led in player with usb drive starts to flash in 1 second pattern. This happens random. 

It looks if it is a data transfer problem. It freezes also when players have no pro link and work standalone.

Saturday night i played in a big club in Holland and used the corsair usb drive on cdj 2000nxs without any problem for 5 houres. In the morning at home in the XDJ-700 within 2 minutes complete freeze of the two units. There is no problem with the stick but with the xdj-700 players. I shall return them while i can. 

Here's what I know about Corsair USB drives... the only one I've ever had success with in an XDJ, is my GTX - probably because it uses an SSD memory manager chipset. In fact, the Corsair Survivor series are known not to work properly so we recommend users AVOID them with XDJs.

We have a couple of DJs on our demo team who have the T3 and they've never experienced problems with them.

Were you ever able to reproduce the error with only ONE XDJ, not linked?

Two post ago i already written about the samsung T3 who also freezes in the xdj700.

And yes its happening also when standalone. But no problems with CDJ 900 nxs and CDJ 2000 nxs. 

With these problems i spend more then 40 houres. Buying new cdj players was cheaper..

It happens when searching true the files. Files are scanned on bad files, all other files(bmp,jpg,png,gif,htm,etc.)are removed and APE tags are removed.

Are you able to repeat the freeze with any particular filetype (or specific file), or does it occur after a specific amount of time?

Is there any error message onscreen or is it simply entering an emergency loop?

I could repeat the freeze on the samsung T3 and cosair usb drive. After playing the same mp3 and then go to search typing two letters and freeze. Not freezing on sandisk ultra fit and rekordbox pc with pro link. Not freezing on cdj 800 nxs and cdj 2000 nxs. 

Samsung and corsair had 18000+ files and sandisk drive had 10000+ files.

There was no error message and not always was the second xdj700 in emergency loop but just freezes.

The hole idea for me is to have a big library without having a laptop, Current i testing other brand.

As previously noted, the Corsair drive is known to have issues, so please discontinue its use with the XDJs.

I'll check with our engineers to see if there is a limitation on the number of tracks supported by the XDJ-700 (I don't think there is, other than the standard playlist maximum).
