XDJ-700 - Qwerty search not working

Hi guys,

I just bought a pair of XDJ-700s and the qwerty search function is not working on both of them. It wasn't working on firmware 1.0, so I upgraded to 1.12 but it's still not working. I press and hold "BROWSE/SEARCH" and nothing happens. I'm using a USB stick with folders. Please note that I'm not using Rekordbox to analyze my files and I don't intend to as I don't use sync and other options like that. I simply like to drag and drop mp3s to folders on my USB stick and start playing. Is the search function not working because I'm not using Rekordbox? If that's the case, can you guys please fix this in a future firmware? I don't see why my files would have to be analyzed by RB for the search function to work.
