What exactly does PC-MASTER-OUT do?

I'm looking at the DDJ-RZ which has the PC-MASTER-OUT feature. What exactly does this give me?

The advertising blurb seems to imply that it lets me send the master out to my PC sound card rather than the master outs on the DDJ-RZ. Is this all it does?  If so, does that mean all the EQ etc is handled in software rather than using the 'real' EQ in the DDJ mixer section?  Is there a signal flow diagram anywhere that explains how the signal is routed?

Ideally I'd like to be able to send the headphone cue mix to the PC so I can listen to tracks before playing them without tying up a channel on the controller.

The PC output basically allows the software to send a second copy of the master output to another soundcard as well as the controller, allowing you to have the audio come out of your computer's speakers (internal or attached), as well as the master output from the controller.
