Edit the grid! Find the first beat with the play-head, switch to Grid Edit mode, then click the Red/White bar to set the 1.1 position.
New user to rekordbox here. I am trying to understand the bars/beats counter on the waveform. I am noticing that before the song even starts the bars/beats counter is already at 0.4. This shouldn't be happening right? And how to I fix it?

Ok so my real question is. Why does the position start at 1.1 on the first beat? Shouldn't it start at 0.1? Total newb here but I'm not sure where the first bar is always set. You're saying the first bar is the first beat?
When counting music, the first beat of the first bar is always "one," not "one quarter." ;)
Thank you...

Check that your analysis mode is set properly; if the tracks have a consistent electronic drum track, the analysis mode should be set to NORMAL. For live drummers or inconsistent tempos, please set it to DYNAMIC.
