Hi internet. Ive recently purchased an old imac in replacement of my laptop thinking it could handle rekordbox with ease - but to no luck. its laggy and unusable. I now need to purchase a laptop before my set in a week and a half... but would rather not splash out on an i3 or i5 laptop (unless i have to). ive seen a few 'intel pentinum' built laptops but dont want to buy until i know it could handle the software? any help?
AMD processors are not supported, and the recommendation is for an i3/5/7 processor. Please note that Intel m3/5/7 processors and "Pentium" processors are also not supported.
If your old iMac is a Core2Duo, it may work, but it may be sluggish.

Here is the specs, but having an i3-i5 that can more than handle your DJ needs seems like it would be a worth while investment?
