Xdj RX2 and Rekordbox DJ

Hi !

i have see the brand new Xdj RX2 and it seems to be very powerful. But, I have some questions about performance mode.

Is that standalone is DVS? That is to say, can I play some songs from Rekordbox DJ with timecode vinyls ou timecode CD? Because I want to play hip-hop songs with my Technics and house music with a USB key.

In Rekordbox DJ with the Xdj RX2, is it still possible to have Slicer, Active censor and Sequence Call in performance mode?

When we have the RMX plus pack, can we use those FX with the Xdj RX2 in performance mode? If yes, how can we chose the FX we want?

Today i have a DDJ RX, I want to sold it in order to buy this controler. I need the standalone mode and the DDJ RX capabilities. I don't want to have an DDJ and à XDJ. I want to have one unit for both.

Unfortunately the XDJ-RX2 does not support DVS functionality, but you could play vinyl as an input source to one of the channels.

Yes, those additional rekordbox dj functions would still be available with the RX2, but you wouldn't necessarily have access to control them (eg. Sequence Call).

Yes, you could use the RMX plus-pack, but the FX are called and controlled through the software; there are no dedicated controls on the RX2 for that purpose.

Can we map those FX from RMX pack? And can we map the Slicer and Sequence Call on the buttons that are not mapped?

Sorry, I'm not clear on what you mean by "Can we map those FX from RMX pack" ?

There aren't any "unmapped" buttons, so you'd have to overwrite another function (eg. Slip Loop) to map those functions.

got a rx2 too, need to know my mistakes, please let me know, what i do wrong...

got playlists and tracks exported with rekordbox 5 (latest update),

inserting hdd to rx2, wait till ready, and then... "rekordbox" doesn't work by pushing (empty screen) and the "browse" doesn't work either, i type in letters, no results...?!

please help me, cause i need to find tracks asap when i'm on gig...
