DDJ-XP1

Is it not possible to capture loops from this unit?

As a native rekordbox DJ controller I think this is a major oversight.

Hopefully will available on DDJ-XP1 MK2 :)

@Shaun > "Capture" no, it's not a sampler. You CAN activate a loop or adjust the size.

Sorry, only came across it because Colesy commented! Not sure why I missed it the first time.

Missing files on your hard drive aren't currently in rekordbox, so there's nothing TO remove. Even if you had a file in the collection, removing it will NOT remove it from the hard drive. Unfortunately this is something we've been asking to have included but it's not available yet.

If you want to remove them instead of relocating, there's no harm in simply deleting the entries with missing files.

Kool thanks,in a way it maybe better not to be able to delete from RB cause of an accidental removal wont be able to retrieve, but then on the other hand it would be good cause you are listening to some bad quality track and can get rid of it while playing intead of digging thru folders ,anyway thanks bro

If it were a matter of deleting the file, it would require a modifier key (like in Serato DJ, you press "delete" to remove it from the collection, but "shift+delete" to remove both the entry in the collection AND the physical file.

Pulse that shift+delete has been requested by quite a few from memory and for quite a long time. On the surface it sounds quite simple but are you able to advise on the challenges behind the scenes to help us understand why it is not yet in place?

@Colesy > If only I knew. I had to come up with work-arounds involving exporting a playlist / importing a playlist to Serato DJ to make it easy to delete files from the hard drive AND collection.

I'm waiting too!
