so I tried playing from just a usb stick into the cdj and it works fine no problems. So the problem is my computer or the rekordbox dj software is interfering somehow

So here is my setup 3cdj 2000 nexus 2 and a djm900 nexus 2. I have it connected to my pc so I can run rekordbox.. But in rekordbox if I use either the mixer or the cdjs as a soundcard I am getting a crackling sound coming through my speakers. Some one said I should try a ground loop isolator so I did, I connected it between the pc and the mixer line out and still get the problem. Would buying another soundcard help ??. I have no idea what to do now ??

Have you tried changing the buffer size on the audio interface in the settings?
