ddj-wego4 microphone

Once rekordbox Dj loads up the microphone input stops all together. There is no humming, no white noise, it just stops. once I close record box it works fine I even tested as record box opened. Of corse one the program was completed loading the microphone shut off. How do I correct this issue?
