I am trying to use Rekordbox Video for karaoke but having the enlarged waveform, waveform, decks, video window, and browser is just FAR too busy and hard to find tracks at the same time. Please allow options to remove every component if necessary, not everyone has a 1080p or 4k laptop.
Ideally, I would like the option for waveform display to automatically swap to video display upon loading a video. If you are doing karaoke, the enlarged waveform is unnecessary.
I have an XDJ-RX2 and use browser mode most of the time as the waveform is displayed on the controller screen.
Also it would make sense to be able to drag songs onto the corresponding video screen. rather than the deck as the decks are further than the screen, and be able to change the vertical order of each of the displays (waveform/deck/video/browser etc).
Please take keen note of this post as the layout Rekordbox Video needs a bit of work. Thankyou.
Sorry, as close as you'll get is to hide the platters & pads:
It will show the large waveforms, the overview waveforms for each deck (ala Browse mode), but that's the intention of this software - performance.
You can't drag-and-drop a video to the video preview area to load it to a deck as that would be what you do in order to link a video to another track.

The other idea might be simply to allow the video display in browser mode which is basically what I want or simply have a video mode dedicated to video!
