Support SoundSwitch

I contacted SoundSwitch and they said that they are waiting for your request.

Still, I would be surprised if their partnership with Serato allows for integration with other manufacturers applications.

Thanks for getting in touch with SoundSwitch.

We would like to support SoundSwitch but it will be a matter of if Pioneer would like to work with us. We are currently in talks with other Dj Softwares about supporting SoundSwitch and our goal is to have full support for most Dj Softwares.

P.s those are awesome controllers.

Its all what I know...

They now also support Virtual DJ and again I have contacted them and they said they'd love to work with you guys, the ball is now in Pioneer's court. You've worked with PulseLocker so it can clearly be done, it favours you guys too but sadly I don't have much hope for it :/

2 years later and rekordbox lighting doesn't even have moving head position control which is something soundswitch has had since 2016. I'm just so fucking disappointed in you guys. What is it going to take for you to wake up and respond to customer complaints quickly.

Your business strategy is everything that we hate about Apple. Create a closed ecosystem trying to monopolize the market, stay 5 years behind other companies, and respond with bullshit like the above to customer frustration. The DJ community deserves better.

Sony tried to do the same thing with video games, they blocked cross-platform gameplay until the gaming community literally boycotted the company last year until they finally let kids play video games with kids on other platforms. Is that what it's going to take? Us getting together and boycotting Pioneer? You're ruining your own brand. 

You are the Sony of DJing. Just read the above post... not the bullshit response you gave. The fact that Soundswitch, and virtually everyone is begging you to play ball and you're just sitting with you thumb up yours is disgusting.

3 more years have passed and it turns out the company that doesn't want someone else competing here is Pioneer. They really don't want SoundSwitch competing with their own over priced and feature lacking solution.

You know SoundSwitch is owned by InMusic, the owners of Denon and Numark, right? So the likelihood of SoundSwitch being supported by rekordbox is about as close to zero as it can get. Sorry!
