Edit: it's pretty bold of pioneer to accuse a user of piracy with no information about the situation. 1. The backing tracks were original work by the artist. 2. Copying a file to play for a performance is not piracy. I didn't keep or distribute the file.
If a user brings me a USB drive to get a track from, and they need that USB drive back, can I do this inside rekordbox? The scenario is: I'm playing at an event and a performer brings me a backing track. I'm currently playing in Performance mode, so I need to do this inside rekordbox. If I browse to Explorer>User's Drive, I see the track. If I drag it to my collection, it imports it, but leaves it on the user's drive, so if I eject the drive, it goes away. Can I also tell rekordbox to also copy the file into my library, which is a USB SSD drive that I store my files and library database on?
