I can have this exact same discussion with DJs every day and they still blame the hardware.
Please please PLEASE check the analysis mode and beat grids FIRST!
Thanks @FS.
Ive just noticed that without sync on, which I never use, the BPM of the track thats playing changes by tiny amounts up and down as the track is playing. This never used to happen on the XDJ-RX1.
So the tracks are analysed, then when loaded into the RX2 I was under the impression that the BPM will stay as what it was when the track was analysed?
Ive noticed that the BPM changes are stored to the track, so the BPM fluctuates at the exact same time when the track is playing

When running the BPM Analysis, did you use the dynamic setting?
I tried changing it and then re-analysing and it just does the same.
If your tracks have a regular BPM, then I don't see why it would change. Have you looked at the BPM in Rekordbox either in export or performance mode? Does that show the BPM fluctuation?
If not, this would point to an RX2 issue.
I’ve tried analysing the track again ‘normal’ and putting on a different USB stick and it’s fine, although I was sure I tried this last night, I must have been mistaken, thanks
Excellent, glad you figured it out :-)
