Could you bring us MusikMesse FX1 and FX2 slots with the same FX list ?

I admit I'm tired...
But no reason not to be respectful...
it's also because I love and believe in this product that it annoys me ...
But certainly not my fault (and not yours too) to have seen this video on youtube that made me want to buy this machine thinking (wrongly certainly) that it would happen at a time in the development of the product ...
Thanks for passing this.
I do appreciate you taking the time - honestly. I know you guys want a better product and I want to help our team deliver that.
Agree with Jessie. Give us FX1 and FX2 slots with the same FX list. Firmware update 1.4 has very negative feedback everywhere, you can improve reputation with these features which were announced from the beginning.
@Phunk Jamz > I have to disagree with your assessment -- the items shown in the screenshots above may have been in that video, but I don't believe they were ever "announced features." I understand these are desirable functions, and much like you, I hope to see them implemented.
That video was shot at Musikmesse in early April, however the SP-16 did not reach retail stores until the summer. As I have previously indicated, it's possible (my personal speculation; not an official Pioneer DJ statement) that the pre-production hardware and firmware shown at MM were not final versions and changes had to be made for reasons of functionality and performance. Maybe it was discovered there were problems and the two FX banks wouldn't operate properly, or the variety of effects was never intended to be issued in a public release, but was unfortunately in the unit that was shown at MM. I know from personal experience that the products displayed at trade shows and other events, especially unreleased products being shown for the first time as a sneak-peek or intro, are, in fact, pre-production hardware with beta firmware and not necessarily reflective of the final product. Usually the changes are for the better, but it's unfortunate that in this case, those features never made it to final production. Any features seen in pre-release products are subject to change, especially if those features are seen in a video or other material which is not official Pioneer DJ produced marketing content.
You may have expected or hoped that these features would be included in updates since release, however the planned updates document never outlined those specific features, so your anger is misplaced. If you are upset about the removal of the sampler function, I sympathize - as far as I'm aware, that was a last minute change (again, my personal speculation; not an official Pioneer DJ statement) because the implementation didn't match the performance expectation.
We encourage users to continue to provide feedback and make feature requests, and our product teams work hard to consider and implement them when technically and feasibly possible. While you may see some of these included in other, newer, products (such as the DJS-1000), that doesn't mean owners of the SP-16 are being left out in the cold. We value our customers and I hope our engineers are able to meet your expectations.
Not being upset here, but...
I also agree, two fx slots per track/sample would be a very big improvement for a professional sampler ;)
I think it is understandable that a feature shown at Musikmesse can lead to wrong expectations if it is not included in a product after some time. We are mostly users who decide upon features we find/see in advertising and presentations for the product, like at Musikmesse. Seems obvious to me to think that, "what we see is what we get", at least from the perspective of a customer burning to get this new product and not knowing anything about any current update policies and the way a company handles such things, or not ;)
That this feature/function seen at Musikmesse was not on the update plan, or has been delayed is something that most users are not aware of, not sure if it is their fault though if they get confused, or even disappointed about this.
So we all love the SP-16 for what it is already, a unique and special machine.
We want to get the most out of our gear, making it even more unique and special with different new improvements and enhancements, because it is out passion to make music with good machines.
So please don´t get us wrong when some of us are so passionate about a great product that we sometimes seem to get really extremely passionate about wishing great and useful new features/improvements ;)
Hello,
i would like to thank the toraiz sp-16 developement team to finally bring FX2 on the Toraiz that's great. But if you can also deliver more effects as it was planed at the beginning that would be amazing. [ but it take so many times guys ]
Full FX list: chorus, flanger, phaser, ring mod, tremolo, auto pan, distortion, lofi, delay, reverb, 2pole EQ, filter, compressor, limiter, ducker, vinyl brake, trans, roll
To tell you i'm thankful i bought for the third time the SP-16. Don't get me wrong now with 64sec, Live sampling and 2 fx slots it's better. I'm afraid you will drop anymore firmware update because the price massively drop seems like to get rid of the last item in stock and bye bye. I hope you will add those missing FX types. And if you can gives us an LFO2 it would be probably one of the best Sampler ever with the octatrack for sure.
Just sayin' - don't let us
it's ok in this state but with just the full FX list and a LFO2, you can really produce another batch - or you will let us and release a SP-16 mk2
Thanks anyway
