XDJ RX2 BUG - No Quantize on echo effect

Yes, I have the exact same problem!

Please HELP!!!

I know there are a couple of QUANTIZE modes available; have you cycled through to ensure that the player itself is also in QUANTIZE mode?

Ofcouse I checked everything, I'm not a newbie. The player itself in is quantize mode.

Question: If you have a xdj-rx2 unit overthere, can you tell me which effects have quantize on when your turn the effects select knob?

Again; the manual says that only reverb and pitch don't have quantize! And ofcourse you don't need it with these effects. Echo and spiral should have it on automatically. So it's a very simpel thing. But a big problem for me as a professional dj. Thank you, hope to hear from you soon. Kind regards.

I also posted a video on youtube to seek help. But I am hoping to get a answer and solution from Pioneer itself cause I think it's a big thing knowing the first xdj-rx very well.

Once you have selected the echo effect with quantize disabled (when it should be enabled), press the Quantize button twice. Does this activate the quantize for the echo effect now? Or there is no way to activate quantize in spiral or echo?

I am asking just for curiosity, I (still) do not own a xdj-rx2.

Looking into the ECHO reasoning, but SPIRAL is one I wouldn't want it anyhow - I find that effect more useful when I wind the time up and down quickly. So awesome.

Thanks for you comments. No, it doesn't, I tried everything. There is no way you can activate the quantize on in beat effects. And the strange thing is that it should be on automatically. You can read this in the xdj-rx2 manual. I never had this problem with the first xdj-rx.

Thanks Pulse for looking into it. I think if you have a xdj-rx by the hand you just can check it really fast. Just turn the knob and see for yourself that the quantize in beateffects will not turn red (active) I work with spiral but I just use the echo and tail, so I never wind it up or down, i don't like that in my sets but that's a personal choice.

Hope you have an anwser. And if I may ask: Are you working for pioneer dj? I also emaild my question and problem via the website but the don't reply. If I can contact them via something else please tell me. I have 3 gigs this weekend and working on the gear these days. Thank you and kind regards.

I just bought the XDJ-RX2

Well i write on this subject cause i have same problem.

I check all Beat effect and here's below what i found:

Roll, flanger, pitch and trans are working fine on both deck 1 & 2.

I mean if i select one of them i can hear the effect on my HD8DJ hearphone (cue on) and by the speaker.

If i want Reverb, Spiral, Echo and Delay it doesn't work on Ch1 & Ch2.

But if i selec  Ch " Master " all effects are working fine???

So what can we say?

Hope new firmware can correct this?

Are tk pioneer of XDJ-RX2 team are working on this?

At this time, i didn't notice other problem.

If i didn't wrote on the good subject sorry and put my answer on the appropriate too.
