DDJ-SB2 problem with the pad trans and the sampler

Hello,

I just bought a DDJ-SB2 controller, and i've got some issues with the "pad trans" and the "sample".
I followed the tutorials Pioneer dj made on YouTube and the different steps to use it, but i'm really confused now, cause I don't manage to make it work. So I basically know who the pad trans is supposed to sounds like.

I'm using Serato DJ Intro

Sampler:

My problem is when I grab and put a sample on the boxes (in the software), and try to play them after pushing the "sampler button" on the hardware, it plays but no sound is coming out of it. I checked the "mute" button on Serato (on or off,it doesn't change anything), and put the volume on, it still doesn't work.

Pad trans:

Same for pad trans, when I activate it by pushing the button (the "on" pad trans), Nothing happens when I press the four pads. Oh, it only lights up actually (same as in the video), but no effect.

Thank you very much for you help, and sorry for my broken English.

Clément.

When you load a sample to the sample deck, you need to put the pads into SAMPLER mode by pressing that mode button. SAMPLER will be red when your pads are in that mode.

Press the first pad to play the first sample, press shift+the pad to stop playback of the sample.

The PAD TRANS function is to chop the audio of the playing track, and when it's enabled, overrides the normal function of the pads. Was your deck playing audio at the time?
