Yes, you can use the RR for DVS, but you would need to purchase the DVS plus-pack for rekordbox.
Hi, I just got a pair of PLX-500 but haven't got a mixer yet, then I found out the DDJ-RR controller supports Rekordbox and DVS, so it means I can buy timecode vinyls , plug my PLX-500 to the DDJ-RR and use all the features of this controller?
Do I have to buy an additional license?
thanks in advance

Hi @Pulse ... dito for me. Just ordered 2 x PLX-500. I'm having an XDJ-RX first edition and a RBDJ license. Same answer for me? Buy timecode + pluspack? As far as I understood, it is *not* necessary to buy INTERFACE2? Thanks!
@Christophe > If you wanted to use the XDJ-RX with rekordbox and turntables for DVS, you would need an INTERFACE2 box as the XDJ-RX itself does not support DVS input.
You would connect the turntable outputs to the IF2, and their outputs to the inputs on the RX. As the DVS control would be through the turntables > IF2, but here's the rub... you wouldn't be able to use the RX in MIDI mode. When both devices are connected, even though you can configure the IF2 for output, as soon as you put the RX into MIDI mode, its controls take over and the output audio is stopped.
There may be a way to get it working using some 3rd party software to monkey around with the audio device, but I'm not recommending this setup for anyone at this time.
Bottom line - you can use the IF2 and DVS input, but the RX would have to be disconnected from USB to the computer and working in stand-alone mode.
