I've got a pair of XDJ-1000s with the latest firmware connected via HID USB to the latest version of rekordbox on my laptop. And I've encountered a problem.
Sometimes when I cue a track the cue point moves around on its own accord? The track time on the deck will stutter from 00:00:01 to like 00:00:04 and the marker/ wave form will visually move along on the software screen. When it moves those few milliseconds and I press cue it then makes a new cue point and thus doesn't play which is not ideal at all as I've missed my timing.
Any particular reason for this? The decks are 18 months old now could the deck need replacement cue and play buttons? Or is it the software? Or is maybe the jog wheel wobbling and thus moving the waveform position along?
Just doesn't make sense and is really effecting my ability to perform. Had a really unenjoysble few gigs.
Laptop is a brand new Dell - i7 3.5GHz - 16Gb Ram - SSD etc etc and was not overheating.

I believe the problem to be caused by bass vibrations in the nightclub. I have the same problem in the 4 nightclubs I play at every week.
The vibration problem does not happen when the decks are in stand alone operation with USB.
As they are HID and not DVS there is no way of calibrating the XDJ-1000s in the Rekordbox DJ software.
