I finally got it to work by buying a USB 3.1 to ethernet connector worked like a charm!

DJM 2000 Nexus Firmware Update with New MacBook Pro 2016
Has anyone connected their New MacBook Pro 2016 (Touch) to a DJM 2000 Nexus or regular to do a Firmware Update via ethernet?
I am trying with a Thunderbolt to Ethernet connector with no luck, I guess I could find a windows box and do it but down the line I may want to use Link.
