The DDJ-RX works with Rekordbox not Serato, but you can use vinyl with the controller and go through Rekordbox DVS for everything.
Hi all, my GF has bought me full pioneer kit headphones speakers DDJ RX controller for my 30th! Not mixed for years since technics so getting up to speed. My friend said about serato DVS interface that I can connect technics to controller. 1. Assume this is possible as just use a line input? 2.Can you still use controller FX on external vinyl/cd deck inputs. 3. Gather I would have to have 2 programs open to play DVS tracks and record box to play tracks though integral controller lines? I'm worried I have the wrong controller...ideally I would rather have one program open I can play both on? I can still return as not delivered yet. ...so any advise on pioneer controller model would be great...or if I would have to get a Dennon controller for example to be able to have 1 programme for integral controller lines as well as vinyl line? Thanks everyone

Thanks for the info. Do I need to get an external interface hardware box to connect technics to or can the technics connect straight into the controller line channels? Do I just need to buy the time vinyl? Also, will the ddjrx relordbox software come with the DVS software or is it an expansion pack that you have to buy? Thanks again
DVS is an expansion pack and you can plug in the TT to the controller. https://rekordbox.com/en/products/rekordboxdvs/
