[Bug] 4.4.0 Beta2 DDJ-RR Line-In (PC-Mix) is broken and other bugs

Hy,

 

wanted to Report that the PC-Mix Line is does not work on the RR in latest Beta, would be nice to get this fixed in Beta3.

Also RB still won't remeber my Crossfader Settings (in my case it's off) everytime i start rb again i have to disable the cf assignment again.

@Daniel > I tested the PC Mix (playing to both the computer's soundcard and the master DDJ-RR output simultaneously), and it does work with 4.4.0b2 on Mac, are you on Windows? Do you have the PC MIX switch on the back set to ON?

I'm assuming that's what you meant, even though you said "Line-In" and "PC-Mic"?

And yes, I can confirm that it's not maintaining the crossfader preferences when the hardware is detected, but otherwise rekordbox does recall the settings of the previous use.

hy pulse,

 

sorry forgot to mention that im on windows. and yes i meant pc-mix (corrected it).

as soon as i enable pc-mix in the beta sound is gone from line in.

in 4.3.x it works as intended.

@Daniel > Can you clarify what you mean "sound is gone from line in" -- do you mean one of the input channels from the RR? Or did you mean the output from the master and PC?

it's only the (external) Input channel that doesnt work when enabling pc mix. when disabling it works, of Course only fader and gain, nothing more.

as said, in 4.3.x it worked fine.

hy pulse,

 

yes the Problem is still there in 4.4.0 full and also in rb5 beta2.

line in (pc-mix) only works when switching to external in and starting rb new. when switching back to normal mode (playing files directly in rb) and back to external it's gone again. really a no go for live situations :-(

Hi Pulse, Has this issue been fixed yet as i'm having the exact same problem. I have launched a support request with Pioneer (Request #37924) but have not received a reply (apart from the initial one saying the request has been received and that i would receive a reply within two business days...)

check the latest 5.0 beta it's the first release with a fix for this. i think they won't fix this in the 4.x releases anymore.
