Hi all,
My DJM900NXS1 does not have a ground pin in the power socket. Only + and -.
Sometimes when I plug into the club's system via XLR's I have noticed I first need to connect the XLR's to my mixer, and then I can plug in the power to my mixer, otherwise I often get 'n slight electrical shock and also it pops loudly on the club's system. Also during the night when I touch my DJM900 around the headphone jack etc. I can actually feel the a slight electrical current...
I recently bought a XDJ-RX and I noticed this unit has 3 pins in it's power socket (ground, + and -).
Can I somehow earth my DJM900 mixer (connect the chassis of the DJM900 mixer to ground wire or something) to solve this?
The club's system has a DBX PA2 processor I plug into via XLR and from there it runs to the amps etc. This only happens now and then when I play at the club, so it might be something wrong with their equipment or power connections..? I have never had this issue on other systems.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Something I thought now, how does the earth pin in the socket of the USA model DJM900 mixers connect to the mixer? Does it just connect to the chassis of the mixer body? Then I could swap the 2 pin IEC socket for a 3 pin IEC socket and then ground my mixer?...
I also noticed in the USA model manuals it has a clause about the ground plug and mentions: '... Do not defeat the safety purpose of the Grounding Plug."
So why do the EU markets etc not have a ground pin?
I have read this thread but seems it went cold: http://forums-archive.pioneerdj.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/9491012904/m/5530096026
