If rekordbox says the track is already in the collection, it's not missing, you have duplicates.
Sort by the song name, then look at the file path of two songs - post a reply with 3 or 4 examples and I'll help move to the next step.
Hello
Ive been scanning through the FAQs and can't seem to find the answer to mine, I have over 6,000 tracks that Rekordbox can no longer find on my MacBook
Al these tracks are in my iTunes library (I know, don't tell me off...), but when i click relocate on one track for example, and locate the actual track I get the message 'Missing File Manager - This file is already in the collection.'
Before I sling my laptop in the garden can anyone point me in the right direction...??
Cheers for any advice

do you have your music on a usb drive ? if so you may have opened up iTunes with out it been plugged in !!
this will sends rekordbox to a new folder when openned
goto the user folder then music then iTunes you will see a folder called media this folder should have all your music in IF all your music is stored on your MacBook pro !!
if not, you need to delete this folder and make sure iTunes is pointed at the USBdrive in the preferences settings in itunes
Ok yes, now I've established that there are duplicates in my Rekordbox
Now, in a couple of playlists there are around a thousand tracks routed from a folder on my desktop, I've since deleted this folder and the tracks in these playlists are saying they can't be located
How do i relocate them to the copy that is in the 'Collection' in Rekordbox?
And how do I delete the duplicates that are not working?
Thanks for the answers so far aswell, appreciate it
Dog's breakfast! Yay!
Do you have hot cues on those tracks whose files are "missing" (the desktop source folder you deleted)? If not, sort by file location and simply delete anything that used to be in that folder, it will be removed from rekordbox.
If it is, then you want to delete the OTHER entry, and then use the mass-relocation feature to pair those library entries with the physical files.
