I had to reinstall/upgrade my macbook pro laptop. I backed up my Rekordbox folders as well as Time Machine'd. I now open my Rekordbox and none of my saved playlists appear. Do I need to do something else?
Thanks in advance!

@John > Chances are your username (and thus the path to the restored rekordbox database) doesn't match the new location rekordbox is looking for.
Can you confirm if you have a different username? You'll need to make some changes to a couple of files.
My username for my mac login??
Seems like my old user name was my name with no space. My new username is still my name but with a space in between my first and last name. I made the changes in the files suggested in the guide, but still no luck
Is rekordbox opening the correct database? Did you look in the preferences to see if the name / location of the database is correct?
Am I looking for rekordbox.xml ?
Sorry, that would already have been changed with the settings file, my bad!
What is missing? Is the database showing your songs? Are your songs loading waveforms?
Well the first problem I have is, I have 4 different Rekordbox folders on my hard drive so I'm not sure which one is the correct one.
When I open rekordbox, I get a pop up "Track Analysis - rekordbox can not create the analysis file in the folder you specified in preferences"
When it opens I have no playlists at all
Yay! Dog's breakfast!
Shoot me an email, let's arrange something else to try and get you sorted.

Hey I email you a few days ago but didnt receive anything back.
hello ???????
Thank you. I tried the guide again and made the changes and that was it.
Sorry, been inundated with a ton of emails and forum posts due to the new hardware and rekordbox 5 release.
Glad you got it to work.
