Please provide audio routing guide

i have been trying to route audio through my third party controller / mixer, but find it very confusing and have so far been unsuccessful. Is there a recommended workflow to getting audio correctly routed?

Technically, 3rd-party hardware is unsupported, but let me know what you're trying to use and I'll see what I can do to guide you along.

Thanks!

It's Mixars Duo.

What I'd like to achieve is to have the mixing performed in internal mode so that I can use the post fader effects. Being a scratch DJ I like to have some reverb after the fader closes - something which Serato cannot achieve with this mixer.

I have managed to route it so that audio comes out and I can cut in and have the effects post crossfader, however all the output seems to get routed around channel1  somehow, as the headphone cue has both channels in it on the channel1, and none on channel2. Additionally the channel2 EQ and gain doesn't function, channel1 EQ controlling all audio out.

I have managed to hook it up so that the mixer works externally, but the whole point of this is for post fader effects.

As a thought - can the effects be routed to the sampler output on my mixer? This is independent of the cross fader.

I have tried both the audio routing settings available on my mixer - "Serato" and "non Serato".

You can find a map of the routings here: http://www.mixars.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/mixer-duo-audio-routing-and-midi-map.pdf

Thanks for any advice

@Joseph > Unfortunately your mixer won't work properly with Internal mode because your mixer's audio configuration puts each output to a separate channel, as opposed to providing direct routing to the master and headphones, even though it seems to have a separate CUE output.

Sorry!
