How do I delete all of the comments from the Comments column?

Hi guys,

I would like to delete all of my comments for all of my tracks but I can't seem to figure out how to do this. I am doing this so that I can add My Tag info (in this case Camelot key notations) to the Comments fields. I am doing this because after I used the My Tag feature to assign Camelot key notations to all of my tracks, I then discovered the My Tag column seems to be the only column that I cannot sort. I am in workaround limbo!

Any help will be appreciated.

Cheers,

Al

You can multiple-select within rekordbox to achieve this, as @Martin says below.

Not sure if you can multi-select in RB but you could use something like Tag Scanner which will do it in seconds and it's free.

In RBX, mark all your files that you wanna edit, look at the right side and there you will have summary, info and artwork.

Click info. and look for the comment section. If you like me use MIK you should have BPM and KEY in that window. Or some other type of information.

Just edit the comment section or erase the text. like 10A - 134 for example and every track will look the same. i did this with over 4000 tracks so i know it works ;)

And when you edit KEY and BPM in the traditional windows you can do the same. and in batches if you know the key notations or bpm are correct.

Dont do it with Artist or Track as they copy the info from previous!.

Good luck!

Thanks Martin and Pulse! So in hindsight I didn't need to use the My Tag feature to assign Camelot keys. I could have just batch pasted them straight into the Key Column.

This is great to know...cheers!
