Official comment
Correct - but you'd have to use his rekordbox account (username + password) in order to use the license. While you can do 2 installs, they have to be under the same account.

Rekordbox License Info
Hi there I'm just after a quick answer just to see if I have my wires crossed or not.
A friend has purchased a DDJ-RB for a small venue he is doing and used his license included to upgrade to Rekordbox DJ.
Well he's away soon and I'm covering for him. Would I be right in believing that one licence key can be used on 2 separate devices?
