The XDJ-RX2 itself couldn't run the timecode and have the SL box feed the mixer, you would need to run two other CDJs or turntables as the timecode inputs for a Serato box, if connected to the line-ins of the mixer.
Hey there,
If I hook up a SL box to the XDJ RX2 will this enable me to use Serato with it?
Currently looking for a backup solution that supports both USB DJs and Serato DJs incase our main CDJ setup fails.

What if the controller could control serato via midi?
Kinda interesting that Pioneer hasn't released one that will do both USB and Serato natively! Looking for a cheap backup option as we run mini festivals in other countries other than NZ that have minimal hire gear on so if our CDJs and mixer die we want a backup available.
Sorry, but it can no, and will not be able to work with Serato DJ at any time in the future.
I understand the desire for the cross-platform functionality, but there are complex politics behind it.
