Rekordbox + xdj 1000mk2

I recently ordered and received today my XDJ 1000 (1 deck) mk2 and DJM 250 mk 2.

I realized that i can not play with just 1 deck on Rekordbox, Does anyone know how to?

Also, the DJM 250 mk 2 is not compatible with serato dj which is why i am forced to use rekordbox. i can't afford another expensive mixer so i am hoping someone can help me please. Thank you

You could perform an "instant doubles" to duplicate the playing track from the deck with the XDJ controlling it over to the other channel of the mixer, then fade over and load a new track on the XDJ channel... but can I ask what your intention was with having just one deck's worth of control before you purchased it?
