Most of the time, the solution for this issue is to swap out the USB cable. Give that a shot and let us know if it solves the problem for you. If not, we can try to find another solution.

DJM250 mk2 USB audio with Rekordbox DJ cutting from mixer to mac's audio output
My DJM 250 mk2 keeps losing signal to my mac and Rekordbox DJ and going over to the mac's audio output. I suspect it's a loose USB connection on the mixer itself, as it cuts in and out and there's play in the USB cable connection. Audio doesn't drop it just cuts from the mixer and connected speakers over to the macs speakers. Any ideas before I take the mixer back for an exchange? It's a high speed USB cable, although it's 6m long. I use an identical cable with my XP1 connected to the same mac at the same time and no issues with that at all.

I'll try swapping it for the cable the xp1 is connected with tomorrow and see how that goes, thanks. I'm just hoping it's not a conflict with the mixer and the xp1!

I swapped the USB cable out for the original cable the unit shipped with and a USB extension cable and so far it seems the issue has been solved. Thanks for your help!
