HDJ-X10

Just got my new Headphones a few days ago and I am very impressed. The quality is fantastic, and the sound quality is bang on.

Anyone looking for stellar headphones I highly recommend Pioneers new HDJ-X10.

Cheers:)

Right on! These are on my list, and I want to get them before Christmas, so I can give away my HDJs as present to a friend :)

Pioneer products show they are the best again...

Does anybody know how or where to find the serial number for these headphones so I can register them on Pioneer website?

Cheers

I could not find a serial number on the product or the box of my HDJ-X10's, but I found a serial number on the back of the manual inside the box.  It is only four numbers.  The words serial number is in Japanese.  The online form does not recognize the four digit number as being a legitimate serial number, so I cannot register these with my profile.  Can someone at Pioneer please respond to this question?  At $350 a piece, these are very expensive headphones by ALL standards and it would be nice to be able to have the piece of mind that they are legitimate headphones and not counterfeit and will be fully supported through the warranty by Pioneer in case something happens.  I do love what I got.  I just want that piece of mind.  And you would think Pioneer would care more about customers whom paid a premium for these and finally address and answer this damn question with some level of surety... Unlike the employee who said it should be on the box, which obviously it is not.

Same here. Will call on Monday if still no response. If still unable to get a hold of anyone, I'll drive to Torrance as a last result. ( I live in southern california ). <3

I figured this one out. So what you have to do is follow the format that the serial number needs to be in on the registration page there's four letters followed by 6 numbers followed by two letters that is what the registration form is looking for. So what I did is I put the serial number as HDJX10 XXXX EF. XXXX is the 4 digit code on the back of the user manual that is listed as serial number in Japanese, it's the number that is placed there on a sticker. That worked for me and I was able to register the headphones. I hope this helps others.

Yeah DJGEOJOE, Thanks....your technique did work. But for anyone who has the HDJ-X5 or X7, you have to add a 0 (zero) between the X and 5 or 7...ie HDJX05 XXXX EF. That makes the format complete. I just can't believe Pioneer DJ didn't put anything in or on the packaging to let consumers know this.

DJGeoJoe THANK YOU! I have no idea how Pioneer didn't think to put this info on the registration page. I'm going to have to assume the Japanese characters before the serial explain this. Man if so, that sure sucks for everyone who isn't Japanese who bought these. Hell their web page doesn't even tell you where to find the serial. Which is usually on the box, but whatever lol.

You saved me probably a long phone call just to get this figured out.
