Some Songs skip or only couple seconds long on export

I am new to Rekordbox. I have a macbook and have imported all my songs on an external and formatted a separate usb stick for my export. In my collection all my hot cue points and tracks sound great, after exporting playing the tracks back on the usb stick playlist many of the tracks are skipping non stop and / or  are only a couple seconds long while some songs are fine?
