Ddj wego 3 firmware issue

Pitch slider not acting accordingly when shift is held in serato dj. Instead it affects the tempo of the song.
Notmal behaviour should be when shift is held and pich slider is moved. It should not affect the tempo of the song on the deck.

Its a brand new controller. Firmware 1.05
There is a post on the serato forhm about this issue.

The release note for firmware 1.05 seen to point to it being the problem.
It says fixed issue where pich slider does not work when shift is held. Which did not needed to be fixed. That is notmal behavior

@koolbreeze > Actually, no - the "Pitch" fader is doing exactly what it's supposed to do; speed up / slow down the playback, which affects the "pitch" of the audio. If you engage Master Tempo (Key Lock), the pitch remains constant while the speed changes.

When you hold the SHIFT button while moving the pitch fader, it puts the hardware into a "release" mode so you could have pushed the tempo to +8%, held the shift button and moved the pitch slider to the opposite end, then released the shift and moved the pitch fader all the way to the + end again to have the deck playback at +24%.

I guess ur not understanding me the.
I am using serato dj with wego 3.
A song of 90 bpm is on deck A.
I load a song on deck B and hit sync.
Both tracks are now 90 bpm.
If i hold shift on the wego 3 and move the pitch fader Nothing should happen.

However that is not the case. When i hold shift and move the pitch fader the tempo changes as if i am not holding shift.
Hope this is clearer now.
I have a sx2 and it works as it should when i hit sync and hold shift and move pitch slider.

I am sure its a wego issue.
If you look at the release notes for firmware 1.05 you can see the issue clearly saying pioneer brike the controller

Do u jnow of anyway to roll back to previous firmware. Thanks in advance

Yes, sorry - I missed that in your first post. You are correct, it should "release" and not perform any pitch change during a shift+pitch operation. I'll pass this along to the product team for review.

@koolbreeze > Sorry! This fell off my radar; I had a response from the team back in December. Are you using Mac or PC?
