I think you simply need to make sure the deck is paused before you load a track. If the deck is playing when you load a track, it acts as if it is autoplaying.

XDJ RX2 and autoplay settings only one deck autoplays
I have gone through settings and made sure autoplay is off. When I load a song on the left deck the song does not autoplay. When I load the same song on the right deck the track autoplays.
Is there a setting that I am not understanding that causes this issue?

Press and hold this button and make sure the A.CUE indicator appears on both decks.
Also ensure you have these settings in rekordbox preferences.
