Does that also occur when using rekordbox?
Last night, when I disconnected an usb disk from my laptop, DDJ-RR sound cut for 2 or 3 seconds.
Some times an usb disk is wake up for use and same issue occur.
My controller is connected on a USB 2 port, the two usb disks are connected on USB 3 port at other side of the laptop.
Same issue occur if connected on a powered USB HUB or not powered USB HUB or direct connected on the two ports.
I'm using Virtual DJ 8.2.

Does that also occur when using rekordbox?
Not. With Virtual DJ.
This problem not occur when use two cdj-2000 as controllers.
That's not what I asked ... does that problem occur if you're using rekordbox?
Sorry, I will try it soon and post an answer.
With Rekordbox, this issue not occur.
Only with Virtual DJ, and only when plug a disk or pendrive, not when unplug.
Is like a peak of energy when a disk is pluged in. The audio drop down for few milliseconds but track still playing. And sometime pitch are reset to the original tempo (instead of position of the pitch in controller).
Maybe a MIDI interrupt?
Okay, if it doesn't happen with rekordbox, then it isn't a problem with the hardware; it seems Virtual DJ is the culprit. I'll direct you to inquire with their support team.
