They are a different jog, so it's possible that the new mechanism is simply the difference between what you are familiar with and expect vs. what is offered in the new player.

CDJ 3000 jog wheel tension vs 2000nxs2
Hi all,
Just recently taken delivery of my CDJ 3000's but I have noticed that the jog wheel tension is nowhere near as tight as the same setting on my CDJ 2000nxs2's and even on max it is not tight enough for my liking. For example the CDJ 3000s on max tension are about the equivalent of my CDJ 2000nxs2's at about 2 o'clock.
I'm trying to find info online to see if this is just how the CDJ 3000s are, or are they faulty, or are my 2000nxs2's not meant to be that tight?
