USB Connection Instructions
Items Needed:
- Pioneer DDJ XP2 or XP1
- iOS Device (iPad or iPhone)
- Powered USB Hub (iOS devices do not provide enough power for the XP2)
- Apple USB Camera Adapter (An affordable alernative which I have tested with this setup can be found at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZLZLCTF?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details )
- iOS Charger Cable
- USB Cable
- Algoriddim DJAy Pro Subscription
01. Connect Powered USB Hub to Power
02. Connect XP2 to Hub via USB
03. Connect Apple USB Camera Adapter to Power
04. Connect USB Hub to Apple USB Camera Adapter
05. Connect Apple USB Camera Adapter to iOS Device
06. Follow Installation Instructions
Mapping Installation Instructions
01. Copy Mapping file to the DJay Folder on your iOS device
-= Files App, On My iPad/iPhone, DJay
02. Open Algoriddim DJay
03. Tap on the settings icon (Looks like a record button)
04. Tap on Midi Devices
05. Tap on DDJ-XP2
06. On next dialog, tap on DDJ-XP2
07. This will bring up a list of Midi Mappings to choose from
08. Select DDJ-XP2
