Recent upgrade to an XZ from a DDJ-400, loving my new kit!
I have a question about the Beat FX (I use echo on the outgoing channel during a transition). Sometimes the echo effect is not sync'd as I'd expect.
I found a Crossfader video talking about how the NXS2 mixer BeatFX works. I wonder if this is a similar issue?

Any docs or guidance on how this works, work arounds or just so I can understand limitations would be great!

Provided your track has an accurate beat grid, and the BPM is still set to auto and not manually overridden with a tap or other adjustment, the tempo of the beat FX will be on-beat with the music.
The Crossfader video was likely made with a pre-release firmware so should only be used for guidance, not as a final reference.

The other thing to check obviously is that the Beat FX Quantise is on. I thought it was but it wasn't. 🙈🙈
