Are you connecting to a USB-A or USB-C port on your computer?

Is the USB cable connected to the port with the computer symbol and not the one with the plug symbol?

Does the unit illuminate when connected?

Does the DDJ appear in the Windows Device Manager?

Has Windows automatically configured the FLX4 as the default audio device? If so, switch it back to your computer's internal sound card.

Are you using rekordbox 6.6.7, Serato DJ Lite 1.6.2 (or Pro 2.6.2, but requires that you have purchased a license or subscription) or newer?

Are you in Performance mode (rekordbox)?

If you open rekordbox > Preferences > Audio, does the FLX4 appear under Control Device Information at the bottom of the page?

I connected type c to type a. Connected to the port that has the computer logo. Device illuminates when plugged in. The device does not appear in device manager. Windows has not set it as a default device. Using the latest rekordbox software. I am not in performance mode because it's hardware unlockable but it does not see the device. It does not appear in rekordbox preferences audio

I'm using usb-A for type -c
I tried several cables, on all 5 USB connections on the computer.
My previous controller ddj-400 works fine.
I'm using rekordbox performance mode

@Marin: "The device does not appear in device manager."

That could be because you're using the USB-A to C cable and it's not getting the required power. Please try using a USB-C to C cable for your computer, or if you don't have a USB-C port on your computer, use a USB-C to C table connected to a USB-C power adapter to provide power to the DDJ in addition to the USB-C to A cable connected to your computer for data.

I can only have control on ddj flx4 by disconnecting the usb cable and reconnecting it with the computer on.

However in the computers device maneger, the ddj flx4 is not recognized, but in the rekorbox audio i already have ddj flx4

Are you connecting to a USB-A or USB-C port on your computer?

-usb c to usb c (laptop to flx4) = not working only blinking "in" loop button

Is the USB cable connected to the port with the computer symbol and not the one with the plug symbol?

-YES

Does the unit illuminate when connected?

-YES but as I've said only the "in" loop button

Does the DDJ appear in the Windows Device Manager?

-NO

Has Windows automatically configured the FLX4 as the default audio device? If so, switch it back to your computer's internal sound card.

-NO not even recognized

Are you using rekordbox 6.6.7, Serato DJ Lite 1.6.2 (or Pro 2.6.2, but requires that you have purchased a license or subscription) or newer?

-LATEST

Are you in Performance mode (rekordbox)?

-PERFORMANCE, but even before starting rekordbox its not recognized

If you open rekordbox > Preferences > Audio, does the FLX4 appear under Control Device Information at the bottom of the page?

-NOPE

PLEASE ADVISE ASAP

That's what I have been doing.

I start Rekordbox first then connect my laptop.

I've tried three different laptops all running different versions of Windows and I still have the same fault.

iAP Interface driver...
