restore library issue

got a new macbook pro (13" m2 chip). my old laptop i use for rekordbox is a 2017 model macbook air. i'm running the latest version of rekordbox on both computers. i have my playlists organized in music (itunes) and everything feeds over to rekordbox. i moved everything over to my new computer via migration assistant but when i launched rekordbox my playlists weren't showing up and my music wasnt complete.. it basically cut off all my music that i imported after july 5 2020 and only playlists up until July 2020 (i organize my playlists by month so every month there's a new plalist). all of my music and playlists are showing up fine in Music (iTunes). i went in and changed the database to Framework and my playlists showed up and all the music now shows up however nothing from after 3/17/2022 has their cue points/markers etc. etc.

I decided to just do a "backup library" from my old laptop and then do a "restore library" on the new computer just to see if maybe migration assistant messed it up.. i experienced the exact same problems.

that's a lot of music i would have to go and redo everything for. it's pretty cut and dry the backup library and restore library feature but it isnt working for me. What do i need to do to fix this?
