I buy my tracks from Traxsource & Beatport. When i add them to Rekordbox, some of them have empty space at the beginning which throws off the start cue point and beat count.
Here you can see 1.1 to 1.4 bars are empty and the first beat is on 2.1 bar which is incorrect.
Is there a way to update this so the empty space is removed and the start of the track (beat) is 1.1 bar as intended?

Hello, I got the same issue as yours but this editor is very poor of features, I suggest you to fix the tracks directly in "performance" mode with the "grid edit" functions, also you can also remove the blank space directly from Audacity, Ableton etc

The Core subscription has an edit track feature and it was cheap enough to get but things should be easier in a music driven application. In Edit mode, i want to remove the white space from the start of the track. Initially i thought there were 4 bars but there are 5. I delete the 4 bars to the left making the track start on 1.1 bar
but there is still 1 bar to the left. Easy you would think, lets just delete that too but
Deleting it moves the start of the track to -1.4 bar instead of making the start of the track 1.1 bar. Why? I just need the start of the track on that start of the bar. Any fantastic way to do that with the extremely limited edit tools provided in RB?

I started to remove the blanks in Ableton which is easy enough, the only annoyance is the edited track exports as a new track and i lose all of the track metadata entirely..
The Rekordbox Edit mode is useless with about 8 features...
