Rekordbox Dropbox Cloud functionality

Hi Ive had the rekordbox cloud feature for a while now and while I am able to have my library backed up on the cloud, it seems rather slow when using it on a different computer. It also seems pretty slow when using it off the CDJ 3000s at my house on a 1GB connection.

I was wondering if there was something I can do to make the functionality faster. The tracks all show up there but they're greyed out til I click them to load in which can take quite a minute even with the synced dropbox folder on that computer fully syncd.

I also wanted to clarify about using .XML file to keep libraries up to date across different hard drives.

I have a 2TB hard drive I want to create an exact copy of my main library to so I can work without any internet issues. Is all I have to do is export to XML and load it?

If the songs are not stored locally, they would need to be downloaded and that relies entirely on the speed of your network connection. While you may have a 1Gb plan from your ISP, it's possible that your connection to Dropbox is slower. Regardless though, local files don't have to be downloaded and wouldn't take a minute to load to a player. If it's grey within rekordbox, it hasn't been uploaded from the source, so there's conflicting information there.

No, you shouldn't use XML to sync libraries across drives, you're better to use a drive cloning app or a utility to check files for differences and sync the contents rather than using XML as it's not for that purpose.
