Rekordbox 6.6.10 MOTU M4 sound chop, crack etc...
Hi,
I used Pioneer ddj400, but for the sound card I use Motu M4.
In Rekordbox I select Motu asio with 96Khz/128 buffer (1.3ms).
My laptop is an i9 12900H with 32GB RAM, 1To SSD (very performant laptop)
The sound is perfect for few minutes (15/20 min) until it begin to crack, chop etc...
I don't think the problem is the latency because when this problem begin I open the setting, try to grow the buffer to 1024 and the sound continue to crack, chop etc....
I also try to change the soundcard to the internal sound card for the test when the problem appear, it is the same. The only thing to stop the crack, chop, is to restart Rekordbox.
I have traktor also, and with the settings 96Khz/64 buffer, no problem for 3 hours mixing.

Hi, I begin a test with other Rekordbox version.
For your information, the music files I play are all encoded in FLAC 96k/24bit and are stored locally on ssd hdd.
With Rekordbox 6.6.5 and Motu asio setting to 96khz/64 buffer (0.7ms) no problem for 2 hours of mix.
I will try 6.6.6 and later until I find wich version the problem introduced.
I think the problem isn't tied to the soundcard, it is a Rekordbox problem with FLAC maybe.
